Rubelli and Ai Weiwei make silk spatial with About Silk

For Milan Design Week, Rubelli translated Ai Weiwei's visual language into a specially developed silk lampas with red, gold and metallic yarns. The textile envelops the installation and a sculptural sofa, showing how luxury upholstery fabrics can act as both spatial material and artistic medium.
